Dear Friends
The Master’s Degree Program "Environmental, Disaster, and Crisis Management Strategies" was founded in 2014 and is the result of a collective effort of a large group of leading scientists with long experience in the Environment Study and Management, in Sustainable Development, in the Prevention and Response of Natural and Technological Disasters, in Crises Management, but also in matters of Human Rights Protection and International Cooperation.
Since its establishment, the Master’s Degree Program "Environmental, Disaster, and Crisis Management Strategies" closely monitors the modern developments in the field and follows today's challenges, constantly enriching the subjects and adapting its Study Program. The new Study Program is a consequence of this evolutionary philosophy. The modification of the Study Program is adapted to the new global data and the consequent needs of education resilience and adaptation to the Climate Crisis.
The studies are enriched every year with many parallel scientific events, lectures, seminars, simulations, symposia, workshops, scientific-research missions and special activities in areas of special environmental, geodynamic and social interest, as well as in areas, all over the world, where Environmental , Natural and Technological Disasters or Humanitarian Crises are developing.
Our extensive experience in Disaster and Crisis Management in more than 35 countries, the development of International Disaster and Crisis Prevention and Management Programs, in Sustainable Development, in Environment Management, and Environmental Disasters and Crisis have allowed us to undertake such a project, the first relevant in the Greek area.
The Master’s Degree Program "Environmental, Disaster, and Crisis Management Strategies" is not just a means of obtaining a valid Master's Degree from a leading, world-class Educational Institution, but a tool for acquiring essential knowledge of local, regional, national and global contemporary problems, contributing decisively to the promotion of knowledge and science.
Our ambition for the Master’s Degree Program remains to constitute a path going beyond the limits of the standard educational process and become an exciting experience in the most interesting, modern scientific fields.
